4 God We Live was founded in 2008 under the leadership of Alex “AJ” Sanders. The first official rehearsal began June 2008 with AJ and Ariel Barnes, at his parent's home. Over the course of the summer, the group grew to 21 members. 4 God We live, also known as “4GWL” executed their first concert in January 2009. 4GWL is based out of Charlotte, NC consisting of singers from North Carolina , South Carolina , Atlanta ,and New Jersey . 4GWL members have managed to share the stage with Leandria Johnson, Fantaisa, John P Kee , KeKe Wyatt ,Johnthan Nelson, Vashawn Mitchell, Alexis Spight , Melvin Chrispell III and many others. 4GWL also constructed their on seasonal outreach program (4 God we give holiday drive ).4GWL released their first single in 2017 “Worthy” which was nominated for 4 Rhythm of Gospel awards and 2 Gospel Image Awards. In 2019, 4GWL completed what they thought would be their farewell concert but GOD said NO! 4GWL is gearing up for their new single “GO LIVE” slated to be released this fall. 4GWL is a group that demonstrates the challenges and also the importance of what it takes to live for GOD, Declaring his name over a troubled generation
